Calling All SFA Alumni!
Hello and welcome to the SFA Alumni Association, a community dedicated to the ongoing promotion and support of the Louisville Highlands premier pre-K-through-8th grade Catholic School.
Through a combination of boosterism, fundraising, events, professional networking and general frivolity, we help ensure the continued thriving of our school, and the ongoing success of our graduates.
What is the SFAAA?
The St. Francis of Assisi Alumni Association is a social organization dedicated to helping SFA alumni stay connected — to each other and their school — and to helping alumni grow spiritually and professionally. We are also a fundraising and philanthropic organization that raises money to support a variety of critical SFA programs.
We are one of a very few formal Alumni Associations specifically focused on a grade school or middle school. We are here first and foremost because we believe in the unique value of SFA and the importance of its extended family. We also know that Catholic educational institutions, no matter how exceptional they are, cannot survive today without a robust base of support.
Don’t Miss the SFA Super Centennial Celebration — Coming Up in June !
The St. Francis of Assisi School Super Centennial Celebration is coming! This summer on Saturday, June 6th, St. Francis of Assisi School will host the biggest alumni party our campus has ever seen! So tell every alum you know — they cannot miss this once-in-a-lifetime bonanza!
The Super Centennial is being held to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the building of SFA. It will be a combination alumni picnic, music fest and beer fest covering the entire SFA campus!
There’ll be live bands, food trucks, drinks, prizes, surprise guests, and a whole lot more. So come one, come all, and be sure to mark your calendars for this historic happening!

Get Involved, Stay Involved — Volunteer!
We believe — for good reason — that St. Francis if Assisi is the brightest jewel in the crown of Louisville pre-K-through-8 Catholic education. Adding to that luster is the reason the SFA Alumni Association was created.
And what better way to contribute to SFA than to get involved personally in the day-to-day life of the community? Whether in the school or parish, opportunities abound to contribute valuable time and expertise.
No matter what their age or experience, volunteers earn the gratitude of staff and students, the respect and admiration of their peers, and the personal satisfaction that only comes from knowing they’ve made a difference in the lives of others.

Every event we host is designed with intention, from the atmosphere we create to the way each session flows.
As with every benevolent organization, it’s our membership that makes us go! We’re in need of charter members, most especially class ambassadors — primary contacts for each graduating year — to help us communicate and organize our events. The time commitment is minimal, please consider joining us!
